Primary School Teaching Assistant
Location: Llanelli
Job Description:
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Primary School Teaching Assistants to work in primary schools based in Llanelli. The ideal candidates will have experience working in with children in a school environment or within a relevant setting. As a Teaching Assistant you will be required to support pupils on a 1:1 basis. Opportunities available in both Mainstream & ALN setting.
Experience supporting pupils with ALN (Additional Learning Needs) such as Autism & ADHD is beneficial**
Part & Full Time hours available
£88.92-£95.00 daily rate.
Monday – Friday ( during school term)
8:30am-3:30pm working hours.
Key Responsibilities:
Supporting classroom teachers in delivering high-quality education.
Assisting with lesson planning and preparation.
Providing one-on-one or small group support to students.
Helping to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Supervising children during activities and breaks.
Assisting with administrative tasks as needed.
Requirements:
Have a valid enhanced child workforce DBS or willing to obtain one*
(£61.30 to pay for a new one but all candidates who request a new one, once worked 10 shifts through the agency will be fully refunded*)
Register with the EWC if haven’t already*
Previous experience working in a primary school setting or relevant setting.
A passion for working with children and supporting their educational development.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
Relevant qualifications or certifications in education or childcare are preferred.
