Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Mobile Phone Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of mobile devices. This role requires a strong technical aptitude, mechanical knowledge, and proficiency with various tools and equipment. Duties
* Diagnose faults and perform repairs on mobile phones, including screen replacements, battery swaps, and hardware troubleshooting
* Utilise hand tools and specialised equipment to disassemble and reassemble devices accurately
* Conduct maintenance checks on mobile hardware and ensure optimal device performance
* Interpret schematics and technical diagrams to facilitate accurate repairs
* Repair related computer hardware components when necessary, including connectivity issues or component replacements
* Assist with computer networking setup and troubleshooting as required for device integration
* Test repaired devices to ensure functionality meets quality standards before returning to customers
* Maintain detailed records of repairs performed and parts utilised
* Follow safety protocols during all repair procedures to prevent damage or injury
Experience
* Proven experience in mobile phone repair or electronic device maintenance is preferred
* Mechanical knowledge related to small electronic components and device assembly
* Familiarity with hand tools used in electronic repairs such as screwdrivers, prying tools, and soldering equipment
* Knowledge of computer hardware, schematics, and basic computer repair techniques is advantageous
* Experience with computer networking concepts relevant to mobile device connectivity and troubleshooting
* Ability to perform equipment repair efficiently while adhering to safety standards
* Strong organisational skills with attention to detail in documenting repair processes
