Job Description: Job Overview We are seeking a skilled CPCS 360 Driver to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating excavators safely and efficiently on various construction sites. This role requires a strong understanding of machinery operation, adherence to safety standards, and the ability to work collaboratively within a dynamic environment. Duties Operate various size machines from 1t to 50t Conduct routine safety checks and maintenance on machinery to ensure optimal performance Assist with site preparation and groundwork activities as needed Collaborate with site supervisors and other operatives to coordinate tasks effectively Follow all health and safety regulations, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times Report any mechanical issues or safety concerns promptly to management Ensure work areas are kept clean and organised throughout the shift Skills Proven experience in driving, particularly operating on construction sites Mechanical knowledge to perform basic troubleshooting and minor repairs on machinery Familiarity with excavators and their integration within site operations is advantageous Strong understanding of health and safety procedures relevant to construction environments Excellent communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team Valid CPCS card or CSCS NPORS card This role is vital for maintaining the quality and safety of our construction projects.
