As a Pharmacy Technician for HMP Oakwood, you will have direct patient contact to ensure medicines management is robustly delivered in a safe and secure environment. Your duties will include:
Administering medications during morning and evening meds rounds located on the residential units of the establishment.
Stock management and ordering of medications.
Actioning patient prescription requests.
Assisting in medication review clinics.
Liaising with internal and external providers for positive patient outcomes.
Conduct spot-checks to ensure patient compliance with medications in their possession.
Carry out medication reconciliations for all new patients to HMP Oakwood.
Investigating any missed medications.
