Location: Sheffield – S2, S3
Salary: £460 - £600 per week (Depending on Experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day / Long-term | Full-time / Part-time

GSL Education are seeking dedicated, empathetic, and proactive individuals to join a welcoming school community in Sheffield (S2, S3) as Behaviour Support/Mentor. This is an excellent opportunity to make a positive difference in students’ lives while gaining valuable experience in an educational setting.
Your Role as Behaviour Support/Mentor:
* Provide one-to-one and small group support to students with behavioural needs.
* Implement strategies to promote positive behaviour and engagement in learning.
* Work closely with teaching staff and pastoral teams to ensure consistency and support.
* Help create a safe, inclusive, and respectful learning environment.
* Always uphold school policies and safeguarding standards.
What You’ll Need as Behaviour Support/Mentor:
* Experience working with young people (in education or similar settings).
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* A calm, patient, and resilient approach to managing challenging behaviour.
* A proactive attitude and genuine commitment to supporting students.
* Relevant qualifications (desirable but not essential).
* An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
