Apprentice Quantity Surveyor
Location: Malvern
Salary: Apprentice Rate for 6 months then going up after that + Benefits
A well-established regional contractor is looking to recruit an Apprentice Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team in Malvern.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to begin a career within Quantity Surveying while gaining practical experience alongside industry professionals. You will work on a variety of construction projects across sectors including education, healthcare, residential and leisure, whilst receiving ongoing support and development.
The Role
* Assisting the commercial team with the day-to-day management of construction projects
* Supporting the preparation of valuations, cost reports and forecasts
* Assisting with subcontractor procurement and package management
* Monitoring project costs and commercial performance
* Supporting contract administration and project documentation
* Working closely with Quantity Surveyors, Site Managers and Project Managers
* Developing your technical and commercial knowledge through structured training and mentorship
Requirements
* A keen interest in pursuing a career in Quantity Surveying and Construction
* GCSEs (or equivalent) including Maths and English
* Strong numerical and analytical skills
* Good communication and organisational abilities
* Motivated, ambitious and eager to learn
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team
* Full UK Driving Licence desirable
