Teaching Personnel are currently seeking a compassionate and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils with additional needs in welcoming and inclusive primary schools across Doncaster.
This role is available on a full-time or part-time basis, with an immediate start for the right candidate.
The Role:
* Providing 1:1 and small group support for pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
* Supporting children with a range of needs including ASD, ADHD, speech & language difficulties, and SEMH
* Assisting the class teacher with adapting learning materials to meet individual needs
* Implementing EHCP targets and personalised learning plans
* Promoting positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing
* Creating a safe, nurturing and inclusive learning environment
The Ideal Candidate Will:
* Have experience working with children with SEN (school or care setting)
* Hold a relevant Teaching Assistant qualification (Level 2 or equivalent desirable)
* Be patient, resilient and empathetic
* Have strong behaviour management skills
* Be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
