With a strong commitment to quality, innovation, and customer satisfaction, we support pharmaceutical manufacturers, CROs, and CDMOs across the globe with critical materials for active pharmaceutical ingredient (API) production.
The Role
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Sales Manager to lead and expand our client base in the pharmaceutical synthesis sector. This role involves both strategic oversight and hands-on business development to grow market share, build relationships with key clients, and contribute to our long-term sales strategy.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and execute sales strategies to meet and exceed revenue targets
* Identify new business opportunities within the pharmaceutical synthesis market
* Build and maintain strong relationships with procurement, R&D, and production teams at client companies
* Provide technical knowledge and guidance to clients on product applications
* Collaborate with internal teams (technical, regulatory, logistics) to ensure customer satisfaction
* Monitor market trends and competitor activity to inform pricing and positioning
* Attend industry trade shows, conferences, and client visits as needed
* Prepare regular sales forecasts, reports, and pipeline updates for senior leadership
* Lead, mentor, guide and manage a small sales team (2 personnel)
Requirements
* Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemistry, pharmaceutical science, or a related field
* Minimum 5 years of technical sales experience in raw materials for the pharmaceutical synthesis market
* Strong understanding of raw materials used in pharmaceutical synthesis
* Proven ability to manage key accounts and close complex sales deals
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
* Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required
