Role: Senior Design Engineer
Type: Permanent, Full-time
Pay: Dependant on experience
Hours: Monday to Thursday 8:00am - 16:30pm, Friday 8:00am - 15:15pm
Location: Coventry
Are you an experienced Design Engineer with project management experience looking for a new challenge? If so, this opportunity is one that you cannot miss! Our client is looking for a Senior Design Engineer to drive the team forward in the next stage of their development. The ideal candidate will be willing to travel and be experienced working with bespoke machinery.
Responsibilities
* Provide project management for all opportunities and PO transactions.
* Translate quotations into technical specifications and a clear set of deliverables.
* Carry out effective resource planning against agreed project deliverables to ensure projects are well resourced.
* Create concept 3D design models.
* Lead the assigned design engineers in the production of CAD detail drawings necessary for project execution.
* Lead the assigned design engineers in the production of assembly drawings necessary for project execution.
Qualifications
* Manufacturing experience is essential - special purpose machinery/bespoke machinery
* Engineering degree
* CAD experience (Inventor & Vault ideally)
* Project management including project budgets and financial reporting
* Client management
