The Extrusion Operator will report to either the Extrusions Team Lead or the Process Line Team Lead. Effective delivery of the role is vital in enabling the delivery of the Innovate Recycle process and the necessary quality of end reclaimed product.
The Extrusion Operator is an internal role and part of the process line operations team. The role reports to the Team Leads but will also regularly interact with other process line operatives to ensure effective delivery of the whole process and to aide line improvement and enhanced performance wherever possible.
As part of a small team setting up and establishing the company, it is anticipated that the role may vary and adapt to different responsibilities at Innovate Recycle the Market Leader in post.
· Safe & efficient operation of the extrusion and pelletising line in line with company procedures and product requirements.
· Loading the Extrusion Machine and removal of the finished product.
· Set & adjust machine controls including start up and shut down processes.
· Identify & record non-conformance, defects & production failures.
· Basic machine maintenance and cleaning.
· Accurate and clear reporting at the end of the production shift.
· Completion of check forms & defect reporting.
Training and Experience:
· Training will be provided on the Extrusion Operator role at Innovate Recycle
· Extrusion and Pelletisation, preferably PP products (preferred).
· Under water die face cut pelletisation (preferred).
· Health & Safety accountability.
· First Aider Certificate training will be provided
