Engineering Manager

Up to £60,000
Engineering Manager required by highly successful and market leading manufacturing company based in Andover. The successful Engineering Manager will play a key role in the business providing leadership to the Engineering Team whilst ensuring that new products are introduced and manufactured cost effectively.
Main Duties – Engineering Manager
* Leading and managing the Engineering team. Overseeing the new product introduction process.
* Liaising with internal departments and troubleshooting production issues.
* New product development of electronic and mechanical products and software, working from specifications.
* Responsibility for project planning and delivery.
* Supporting with design improvements and obsolescence management
* Ensuring compliance with industry standards.
* Providing technical product support to internal and external customers.
The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate the following: Engineering Manager
* Educated to HND or equivalent in an Electronic, Computer Science or Mechanical engineering discipline.
* Proven experience in product development within a manufacturing environment.
* Excellent problem solving skills.
* Track record of delivering complex projects on time and to specification.
* Highly organised and able to work to deadlines.
* Full UK driving licence
* Flexibility for international travel to meet the needs of the business.
