Role Responsibilities:
1. Oversee the raw materials planning function.
2. Order proteins, including fresh and frozen raw materials.
3. Process requests for increases and decreases in a timely manner.
4. Identify and communicate issues with supply, shortages, and intake.
5. Coordinate production plans.
6. Calculate requirements for backloading materials.
7. Monitor short shelf life items daily.
8. Confirm receipt of purchase orders with suppliers.
9. Book frozen stock into local storage.
10. Respond to office calls and liaise with customers to understand their needs.
11. Be flexible to undertake additional tasks as required by management.
12. Assist team members during scenarios such as holiday coverage.
Candidate Profile:
1. Motivated with a drive for continuous improvement and willingness to go the extra mile.
2. Excellent communication skills, confident in internal and external interactions.
3. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
4. Capable of working within standards, managing pressure, deadlines, and targets with a positive attitude.
5. Strong prioritization skills under time constraints.
6. Detail-oriented with good IT literacy and experience processing data.
7. Knowledge of and adherence to company policies, procedures, and rules.
8. Willingness to undertake additional duties as reasonably requested.
