Job Title: Business Development Executive (IT Services)

Salary: £27k - £35k Base + Uncapped Commission (OTE £45k+)

About Vivid Adapt We are a Cambridge-based Managed IT Service Provider (MSP) helping businesses secure their data and optimise their IT. We don't just "fix computers"; we provide strategic consultancy, particularly to the Financial Services and regulated sectors. We operate a "land and expand" strategy, leading with high-value projects to build trust before securing long-term partnerships.
The Role We are looking for a tenacious, articulate, and driven Sales professional to join our team in Cambridge. Your mission is simple: identify prospective clients, pick up the phone, and open the door.
You will not be waiting for the phone to ring. You will actively hunt for new business, establishing, managing and nurturing customer relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead Generation: Use various tools such as HubSpot, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, etc (in house training provided) and our scoring matrix to identify suitable prospects in the UK Finance sector.
Outreach: Conduct outbound calling and personalised email outreach to C-Level executives (CFOs, CEOs) and business owners.
Qualification: Vetting leads pre-call to ensure they meet our "Prospect Scoring" criteria.
Consultative Selling: Booking and leading initial discovery meetings (online and in-person).
CRM Management: Meticulously recording all activity, calls, and intelligence in our CRM.
Closing: Taking prospects from "Cold" to "Sold" on our introductory services and assisting in the transition to Managed Service Agreements.
Who You Are:
Excellent Communicator: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of building rapport with C-Level executives and Business Owners.
Hunter Mentality: You are not afraid of rejection. You view a "No" as one step closer to a "Yes."
Finance Literate: You have experience selling to, or working within, the finance/professional services industry. You understand concepts like OPEX/CAPEX and Compliance.
Tech-Savvy: You can navigate HubSpot, LinkedIn, and MS Teams with ease.
Travel: You are able to commute to our Histon office daily as well as to client sites across the UK if necessary.
Requirements:
Experience in B2B sales recommended (SaaS, Recruitment, or MSP experience preferred).
Track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
Experience leading face-to-face or video meetings with decision-makers.
