We are looking for a dedicated individual to join the company as a Senior Occupational Therapist within our residential provision. You will be a key part of the multi-disciplinary team within the service, you will also be part of our Therapeutic Services team, comprising of Behaviour Therapists, Clinical Psychologists and Speech and Language Therapists, all working alongside our care colleagues.
The Therapy team make a key contribution to our capacity to provide effective person-centred positive behaviour support. Our inclusive way of working has the people we support as a true partner in their care.

This role will be rewarding, with the opportunity to have a real impact on improving the lives of people within our services. As part of the OT role, you will be given the opportunity to support OT students and provide clinical support to other OTs and Therapy Assistants within the service.
You will provide a service to the individuals who live within the group to ensure that each person’s occupational needs are met within a Positive Behavioural Support framework. You will work to support individuals within the service to develop skills to enable them to become more independent and able to live a lifestyle of their choosing.

About You
You will have an Occupational Therapy professional qualification, and a current professional registration with HCPC. You will have knowledge of learning disability and/or autism and associated mental health difficulties. You will actively provide support and professional advice to other members of the team and all other stakeholders.
