Role Overview
This role reports to the UK R&T (Research & Technology) Procurement Executive and is a key contributor to embedding Open Innovation into all aspects of procurement. You will ensure the right levels of engagement with the UK Network, enable MBDA UK to collaborate with our Supply Chain Partners, including SMEs, research partnerships & academia, and actively support MBDA UK’s reporting on progress with the UK Supply Chain. You will manage external relationships, collect supplier capability data, and represent MBDA UK at off‑site events and trade shows, often requiring overnight stays. Internally you will manage the delivery of all C2I events and initiatives, coordinating people across MBDA UK to support these initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
* Act as the key point of contact for the MBDA UK Procurement Collaborate to Innovate (C2I) Open Innovation initiatives.
* Manage relationships with the UK Network, continually identifying sovereign capability.
* Deliver C2I events and initiatives, managing people across MBDA UK.
* Represent MBDA UK at various off‑site events and trade shows, including overnight stays.
o Plan and attend events either individually or as part of a team.
o Present on behalf of MBDA UK when required.
* Continuously improve C2I initiatives to deliver greater value for money year on year.
* Use data collected throughout the year to provide evidence internally and externally of the impact of Collaborate to Innovate, such as new suppliers onboarded, work placed and money spent.
* Collaborate daily with a variety of internal and external stakeholders to find new capability from new and existing suppliers.

Salary & Working Arrangements
Salary: Up to £45,000 depending on experience.
Dynamic (hybrid) working: Working on‑site and off‑site at events as and when required to fulfil the role.
Security Clearance: British Citizen or a Dual UK national with British citizenship. All successful candidates will need to undergo HMG Basic Personnel Security Standard checks (BPSS).
