We’re seeking a commercially astute, visionary Head of Finance to join our Senior Management Team and help drive the next stage of our journey.
The Role
As Head of Finance, you will lead the financial strategy and day-to-day operations of the business, overseeing a capable team and providing sound counsel to the Executive Leadership Team.
You’ll play a key role in translating data into actionable insight, empowering departments with the financial clarity they need to thrive. From refining systems and processes to future-proofing financial planning, this is a chance to shape how our business grows—sustainably and strategically.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Leading and mentoring a high-performing finance team
* Preparing monthly management accounts with insightful analysis and commentary
* Partnering with the Executive Leadership Team to shape long-term financial strategy
* Overseeing financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting across the business
* Maintaining robust internal controls and ensuring legal compliance in all financial operations
* Driving improvements in systems, reporting, and efficiency
* Presenting complex financial data clearly to non-finance audiences
* Acting as the primary point of contact for external finance advisors and stakeholders
About You
You are a proactive, hands-on finance leader who can balance big-picture thinking with precision and rigour. You thrive in a collaborative, creative environment and take pride in building financial strategies that empower people and shape lasting growth.
Essential skills & experience:
* A higher-level accounting qualification (preferably CIMA or ACCA)
* Extensive experience in a senior finance position, preferably from a marketing agency background
* Advanced Excel skills and strong mathematical acumen
* Experience with modern accounting platforms (ideally Xero)
* Exceptional attention to detail, communication, and analytical thinking
* Able to confidently present financial insights to senior stakeholders
* Comfortable juggling strategic oversight with operational delivery
* Commercial and/or residential property background
* Knowledge of or experience in the luxury hospitality or travel industry

Hours: Approx. 24 hours per week, within Mon–Fri, 9am–5pm
Location: Office-based in St Columb with flexible hybrid working options (this is not a fully remote role)
