IT Support & Security Manager
Were on the lookout for a proactive and hands‑on IT Support & Security Manager to lead our internal IT support operations and strengthen our cybersecurity posture. This is a key role in ensuring our teams and restaurants receive high‑quality technical support, while maintaining robust security and compliance across the organisation.
What You’ll Be Doing
IT Support Oversight
* Manage day‑to‑day internal IT support operations across the business
* Ensure timely resolution of end‑user technical issues.
* Act as the escalation point for complex support incidents
* Coordinate onboarding and offboarding processes, including user access management.
* Provide hands‑on support and training for Microsoft 365 tools (Exchange, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive).
* Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners.
* Collaborate with the IT Restaurant Support Manager and EPOS Manager to resolve restaurant‑impacting issues.
* Maintain internal documentation, FAQs, and training materials for restaurant and support office users.
MSP & Supplier Management
* Act as a key contact for Managed Service Providers (MSPs) and system suppliers.
* Monitor supplier performance against SLAs and KPIs through regular service reviews.
* Escalate issues and ensure alignment with internal security and compliance standards.
* Oversee change management and project delivery from third‑party suppliers.
* Ensure technical solutions meet business goals and timelines.
* Support supplier evaluations and RFP processes for technical and data requirements.
Cybersecurity & Risk Management
* Own and maintain internal IT security policies and procedures.
* Monitor security alerts and coordinate incident responses with MSPs.
* Lead internal audits and support external assessments (e.g., Cyber Essentials, GDPR, PCI‑DSS).
* Manage remediation processes following audits and security assessments, including penetration test findings.
* Ensure effective endpoint protection, access controls, and patching.
* Contribute to the organisational risk register based on current and emerging threats.
* Promote security awareness and training across the organisation.
* Maintain and test the company’s Incident Response and Disaster Recovery plans.
Operational Excellence
* Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align IT services with business needs.
* Recommend improvements and changes to the CIO/IT Director based on business feedback.
* Maintain accurate IT asset inventory and software licensing records.
* Support business continuity and disaster recovery planning.
* Assist with budget management and supplier contract reviews.
What We’re Looking For
* Proven experience managing IT support and working with MSPs.
* Strong knowledge of endpoint management, Office 365, and basic networking.
* Familiarity with security frameworks (Cyber Essentials, ISO 27001, GDPR).
* Excellent communication, vendor management, and problem‑solving skills.
* Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA Security+, ITIL, Microsoft 365 Certified).
Success In This Role Will Be Measured By
* MSP SLA adherence and supplier service quality.
* Internal support ticket resolution times and user satisfaction.
* Effectiveness in responding to incidents, outages, and escalations.
