Job Summary
We are currently hiring Welders for anindustry leader in the Building Services sector, y ou will be responsible for welding a range of pipe configurations, utilising various methods to produce high-quality welds .
Your hours will beMonday-Thursday 07:00-16:30 Friday 07:00-13:30, with overtime available at 1.5
K ey Responsibilities
Use precision measurement instruments and metal cutting and grinding equipment
General workshop duties
Read and understand pipe fabrication drawings for each project.
Adhere to company welding procedures and ensure proper pipe preparation and fit-up.
Undertake training in accordance with company standards and complete cross-training in various welding activities.
Follow company Health & Safety processes.
Requirements:
Essential:
Previous experience in Fabrication and welding with general and pipe welding
Previous experience in welding preparation and fit up
Experience in reading, interpreting, and working to Welding procedures
Competent using measurement instruments, Fillet gauges etc
Desirable:
Heavy or structural Fabrication experience?
Welding qualifications in MMA, MAG or TIG
Abrasive wheel training
