Key duties for the Service Advisor position include:
12. Greeting customers professionally and courteously, ensuring a positive experience
13. Providing accurate repair estimates and repair advice to customers
14. Registering new vehicles and processing service documentation efficiently
15. Preparing invoices and completing vehicle taxing procedures accurately
16. Managing customer enquiries, payments, and complaints at first contact
17. Liaising with parts and workshop teams to ensure smooth workflow
18. Handling internal and external customer communications with courtesy and professionalism
19. Adhering to health and safety policies at all times
20. Managing warranty claims and vehicle service records
Candidate requirements for this Service Advisor role:
21. Previous experience as a Service Advisor or in a similar role within the automotive industry
22. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
23. Ability to work efficiently under pressure
24. Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
25. PC literate with knowledge of administration procedures
26. Knowledge of commercial vehicle after-market is advantageous
