About Structural Repairs Limited
At Structural Repairs Ltd, we pride ourselves on our expertise in providing comprehensive structural solutions for a diverse range of clients. Our Windsor-based team blends professionalism with a personal touch, ensuring that every project is executed with precision and care. If you're looking to be part of a company where dedication to structural integrity is at the heart of everything we do, we would love to hear from you!
Why This Role
The Monitoring NDT Survey Technician plays a crucial role in ensuring the safety and integrity of structures across the UK. By utilising advanced scanning and monitoring technologies, you will help prevent structural failures, safeguarding both properties and lives. This role is essential in maintaining our reputation for delivering effective and innovative solutions to our clients.
About Structural Repairs Limited
We’re not just a surveying or construction firm; we’re a mission-driven, innovation-first company changing how the UK tackles ageing infrastructure. From scanning 100-year-old viaducts to stabilising bridges with fibre carbon, we fuse traditional engineering with next-gen tech to deliver smarter, faster, greener repairs.
Our clients include Network Rail, Shell, Hilton, Parliament, and other organisations who trust us to find problems others miss and fix them before they escalate.
About the Role
As a Monitoring & NDT Technician, you will be part of a fast-growing team at Structural Repairs Ltd. This hybrid role combines fieldwork with data interpretation, allowing you to operate high-tech scanning and monitoring equipment on-site. Your responsibilities will include:
* Travel to client sites nationwide to perform structural monitoring and NDT surveys
* Set up and operate total stations, LiDAR (terrestrial/UAV), and high-tech scanning equipment
* Deploy and manage sensors — crack gauges, vibration monitors, tilt meters — and feed data into automated dashboards
* Scan and assess concrete and masonry structures using GPR and other NDT tools
* Record, analyse, and report on structural movement and deterioration trends
* Translate complex data into clear insights that help our clients take action
* Work safely on active construction sites, including at height and in varied environments
* Collaborate with engineers, project managers, clients, and sometimes drones
About You
* A practical mindset and strong problem-solving skills
* Experience with total stations, LiDAR, or surveying software (Leica, Trimble, etc.) is ideal but we’ll train the right person
* Familiarity with construction sites, NDT tools, or structural monitoring tech is a plus
* Full UK driving licence (25+ for vehicle insurance purposes)
* Physically able to carry equipment and work safely at height
* CSCS card (or willingness to obtain; we’ll help)
* A sense of humour, curiosity, and a drive to do work that matters
Why Join Us
* £42,000–£50,000 salary, depending on experience and qualifications
* Full training in NDT and monitoring systems; no prior experience required
* Company vehicle and travel expenses covered
* Paid holidays, pension scheme, and opportunities for bonuses
* Hybrid working from our Windsor HQ (when not on-site)
* The chance to work on high-profile infrastructure projects nationwide
* Career progression in one of the UK’s most forward-thinking engineering firms
