The Role: This is a hands-on position within a specialist laboratory environment, focused on testing wireless and electronic devices against industry standards.
Youll work with a wide range of technologies including WiFi, Bluetooth, and other communication systems playing a key role in ensuring products are safe, compliant, and ready for market.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct testing of electronic and RF/wireless devices in line with regulatory standards
Set up and operate laboratory-based test equipment
Record, analyse, and interpret test data and results
Support the preparation of technical reports and documentation
Work closely with engineers and internal teams to ensure testing requirements are met
Maintain lab equipment and ensure testing is carried out safely and accurately
Keep up to date with evolving wireless technologies and standards
Requirements:
Degree (or equivalent) in Electronic Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline
Exposure to RF principlesthrough university projects, coursework, or industry experience
Familiarity with RF test equipmentsuch as signal generators and spectrum analysers (hands-on or academic exposure)
Understanding of electronic testing methods and laboratory environments
Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to technical work
Good communication skills and ability to work within a team
