Job Overview
We are seeking dedicated and enthusiastic tutors to deliver high‑quality, in‑person teaching to small groups of GCSE students. The role involves planning and delivering engaging lessons that support students in understanding key subject content, improving exam techniques, and building confidence in their abilities.
Your Responsibilities
* Provide one‑on‑one or small group tutoring sessions tailored to individual student needs.
* Develop customised lesson plans that align with curriculum standards and student learning objectives.
* Assess student progress regularly and adjust teaching methods accordingly to ensure understanding and retention of material.
* Communicate effectively with students, parents, and educators regarding student performance and areas for improvement.
* Create a supportive and encouraging atmosphere that promotes confidence and enthusiasm for learning.
* Stay updated on educational best practices and resources to enhance tutoring effectiveness.
Required Skills
* Strong subject knowledge – in the Science GCSE curriculum
* Clear communication – able to explain complex ideas in a simple and engaging way.
* Lesson planning & organisation – structuring sessions to cover key topics effectively.
