👗 The Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Garment Technologist / Product Developer to join their fast-paced and creative Babywear & Nightwear team.
Working alongside the design and production teams, you’ll play a key role in developing high-quality, compliant, and beautifully made garments — from concept to shipment. This role is perfect for someone who thrives on detail, deadlines, and design collaboration.
🧵 Key Responsibilities
Working on accounts such as /Primark/Tesco/Sainsburys/TKMaxx
Manage the development process from order to shipment, ensuring products meet design intent, fit, and compliance standards.
Create accurate size charts aligned with current fit trends and legal requirements (e.g. drawcord legislation).
Order, track, and manage samples for fit, photography, and sign-off.
Approve lab dips, print strike-offs, and embroidery layouts.
Ensure fabric, trim, and garment testing meet industry standards.
Work closely with factories and high street retail customers to deliver products on time.
Maintain critical path tracking and support all stages of the approval process through online systems.
👩 💻 About You
Previous experience as a Garment Technologist or Product Developer.
Strong understanding of fit, fabrics, testing, and compliance.
Proficient in Excel and critical path management.
Excellent communication and attention to detail.
Experience in babywear or nightwear is a plus — but not essential!
