Type of Role: Permanent, Full-time
Location: Trafford Park
Hours: 8am - 5pm, Monday to Friday
Salary: £27,000 - £29,000 per annum, depending on experience, 25 Days Holiday + Bank Holidays.

We are partnered with a dynamic and rapidly expanding independent service provider operating within the material handling industry. With a strong focus on customer satisfaction and innovative solutions, our client has quickly become a leader in their field.
The ideal candidate will have experience working as a Transport Planner in a busy work environment where customer service is prioritised. You will collaborate closely with the warehouse, sales team, service team, and accounts to ensure the best outcomes for customers.
Administrator Responsibilities
* Plan daily workloads for the fleet of delivery vehicles, be flexible when needed to ensure customers are happy with the service provided.
* Collaborate with the Transport Manager, Customer Service Manager, and the Warehouse Manager and Production Manager to strategise and manage logistics operations.
* Plan jobs to ensure drivers are compliant to their drivers' hours and breaks.
* Deal with queries and issues by telephone and email from our customers, sub-contract hauler's and warehousing sites.
* Maintain and update spreadsheets that generate customer reports and track deliveries.
* Identify and address problems, as well as handling any issues or queries that arise.
* Assist other members of the team when needed, such as with processing jobs.
Skills Required
* Experience as a Transport Planner is essential within logistics or engineering industry is preferred.
* Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
* Knowledge of drivers legislation is desired but not essential as it can be taught.
* Must be confident using Microsoft Excel and Word.
* Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
* Excellent communication skills.
