About the role
We’re looking for a talented Junior Designer to join our expert social design team, with a passion for creating engaging visual content. This role is ideal for someone developing their design skills, with an interest in motion design and a strong ability to create compelling content across social platforms.
Responsibilities
* Create social‑first content across static and motion, designed to engage audiences on platforms like Instagram, TikTok, and beyond
* Bring ideas to life by translating concepts into high‑quality, scroll‑stopping visuals
* Work within brand guidelines to ensure all client assets are accurate, consistent, and on brief
* Collaborate closely with Client Services to deliver work on time and to a high standard
* Partner with copywriters, strategists, and creatives to develop ideas and elevate them through design
* Support the team with lo‑fi and reactive content creation, staying on top of social trends and formats
Qualifications
* Working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator
* Basic understanding of motion design and familiarity with After Effects
* Ability to photograph or shoot on a phone and elevate content in Adobe would be desirable
* Interest in creating social‑first design, with an understanding of what performs well across platforms
* Creative thinking skills, with the confidence to contribute ideas and bring them to life
* Clear communication and a collaborative mindset when working with designers and wider teams
* Ability to explain design choices at a basic level
* Strong attention to detail and a genuine enthusiasm for improving your craft
* Curiosity about design, social trends, and new tools, with a proactive approach to learning and development
* Comfortable with navigating PowerPoint or Google Slides would be desirable
