The Client and Project Info: My client is a leading M&E Contractor who are currently recruiting a Mechanical Supervisor for a major mixed-use development based in Sheffield. This is a long-term opportunity on a high-value scheme combining residential, retail, and commercial spaces. Mechanical Supervisor Responsibilities: * Reporting to and working closely with the Mechanical Manager and Project Manager. * Supervising all mechanical installation works across the mixed-use development. * Managing labour, coordinating subcontractors, and ensuring works are completed to specification. * Monitoring progress against programme and supporting daily/weekly planning. * Ensuring all works are compliant with mechanical drawings, standards, and quality requirements. * Carrying out site inspections and producing relevant documentation. * Leading toolbox talks and ensuring strong adherence to health & safety procedures. * Supporting commissioning activities and assisting with final handover stages. Mechanical Supervisor Requirements: * Experience supervising mechanical building services on large commercial or mixed-use projects. * Strong understanding of HVAC, pipework, plant, and associated mechanical systems. * Ability to manage teams, coordinate subcontractors, and drive high standards on site. * Excellent communication, organisation, and problem-solving skills. * Valid CSCS card and relevant mechanical qualifications.
