Job Opportunity: Substance Use Support Worker

The main purpose of this role is to provide excellent quality care to individuals accessing treatment for substance use and their complex needs. You will work in partnership with our clinical team, counselors, and other professionals involved in clients' care.
You should have in-depth knowledge and experience of the challenges faced by people with substance use and related health and wellbeing issues.
As part of a dynamic team, you will manage a caseload of clients, including prescribing, providing interventions at various stages of recovery, and developing and delivering a wide range of groups.
The duties are varied, and no two days will be the same. You may also support other service areas and participate in activities that promote health and wellbeing, such as smoking cessation and local events.
The Service
Adult Drug and Alcohol Services across Gloucestershire transferred to Via on 1st April 2024. This role offers a great opportunity to build on existing strengths, drive new developments, and make a positive impact within this new contract.
