An exciting opportunity has arisen for a committed individual to join the Partnership Delivery Team to support a number of projects including the Shared Prosperity Fund Programme. This fund is part of the UK Government’s Levelling Up agenda to boost productivity, jobs and living standards, restore a sense of community, local pride and belonging and spread opportunities and improve public services.
The wider Partnership Delivery Team manage a range of other funding including Welsh Government grants such as the Housing Support Grant, Violence against Women, Domestic Abuse and Sexual Violence (VAWDASV) Grant and the Children and Communities Grant.
About the job
The successful applicant will assist the Project Manager (Shared Prosperity Fund) in the development and management of an effective performance management framework to enable the delivery and implementation of services and schemes within the Shared Prosperity Fund Programme.
A key element of the role is to analyse performance of a variety of services and projects, converting this into the development of clear performance monitoring reports to meet local and UK Government requirements. The successful applicant will lead on the development of bespoke monitoring tools and the production of performance and financial reports; this data will ultimately help determine the success and impact of the Programme.
What We Are Looking For From You
You will have previous experience of project or performance management activity, including an awareness of a range of tools to monitor successful outcomes (such as Results Based Accountability). The successful applicant will be a motivated individual who has experience of working with new technology and has excellent digital skills. You will need to work well within a team and be able to work on your own initiative.
You will have experience of working in partnership with a range of partners from either the statutory, third or business sectors and therefore excellent communication and organisational skills are essential.

The post is temporary until 30/03/2025.
