Job Summary
This workflow administration role based in a GP surgery in Worthing. The surgery patient list is approximately 16,000.
The role will be working within the Clinical Coding and Workflow team. This is pivotal role within the practice as it directly impacts on the GPs day to day role and radically reduces their administration workload.
Main Duties
The main duties of the role include processing/filing/coding electronic incoming clinical correspondence using EMIS/Docman software.
We are looking for a Workflow administrator. Main duty will be filing clinical correspondence into our patients records that have been electronically sent or scanned on in-house and sending the majority onto the Coding department. Other correspondence will also be received and you will be required to send these onto the most appropriate person/department for completion, whilst using the guidance of the departments Standard Operating Procedure.
Knowledge of EMIS/Docman would be an advantage but full training will be given.
Attention to detail and accuracy is paramount. Some letters will contain sensitive matter. Please note that you will be continuously dual screen facing for this position within a small team in a quiet office.
