Job Title: Product Manager
About Us
CheqUp is leading provider of weight management services, specialising in the prescription of GLP-1/GIP medications, including Wegovy and Mounjaro, alongside expert Health & Wellness advice. Our mission is to empower individuals to achieve sustainable weight management through high-quality, medically-led care and ongoing support.
With thousands of customers already on board - and many more to come - we’re building a product team to match our ambition.
We’re now looking for an experienced Product Manager to help shape and improve the customer-facing experience - from the moment someone discovers us, through onboarding, habit-building, and long-term retention.
If you're a structured, creative, and data-driven product thinker with a background in Agile teams and digital products, this is a rare opportunity to build something that genuinely improves lives.
What You’ll Be Doing
As our first dedicated Product Manager, you'll focus on the features and functionality that attract, onboard, and retain customers - the parts of our product that directly drive growth and impact.
You’ll be responsible for:
* Identifying customer needs through research, interviews, user journeys, and data
* Exploring market trends and competitors (in and outside our sector) to find inspiration
* Modelling business impact and ROI for potential features and improvements using experimentation to optimise experiences
* Prototyping and visualising customer-centric solutions to test and refine ideas
* Writing clear product specs that balance customer value, feasibility, and commercial return
* Collaborating with engineering, design and marketing to bring great ideas to life
* Building and maintaining roadmaps that reflect business priorities and user value
* Communicating and collaborating with stakeholders across the business, from marketing to leadership
You’ll be the glue between insight and execution - helping the business make smart decisions about what we build, and why.
You Should Apply If You…
* Have solid experience as a Product Owner or Product Manager (At least 5 years) in a structured, Agile setting with a track-record of shipping products that add meaningful value to the customer or the business
* Have worked on customer-facing digital products - ideally B2C, D2C, or health-related
* Are confident owning product discovery from insight to prototype and can systematically break down and solve complex problems
* Are comfortable with roadmap planning, sprint planning, and defining user stories
* Can build a business case and advocate for ideas with clarity and evidence
* Use both quantitative and qualitative insight to shape product decisions
* Love collaborating with engineering, design, and commercial teams
* Are a clear, confident communicator, happy to manage stakeholders at all levels
* Are curious and creative - with a good eye for what “great” looks like across sectors and are passionate about relentlessly improving the customer experience throughout the customer lifecycle
Tools You’ll Know How To Use
* Jira (for backlog and sprint management)
* Confluence (for documentation)
* Product roadmap tooling (e.g. Productboard, Notion, or similar)
* Google Analytics / Microsoft Clarity (or other tools for user behaviour and performance insight)
* Figma / prototyping tools
Why This Role?
* Join a business at the moment product thinking becomes central
* Scope to shape the role, the roadmap, and the future of the product team
* Huge opportunity to have real impact on growth, retention, and user experience
* A smart, down-to-earth, ambitious team who care about doing things right
* In-person collaboration at our Southampton HQ - close to the action, and the customer
