What You’ll Be Doing
As a Manufacturing Engineer, you’ll drive the introduction of new technologies and digital solutions across a modern manufacturing environment. Your work will help transform processes, boost efficiency, and support the development of next-generation products.
You will:
1. Lead technology-focused improvement projects across the facility
2. Research and deliver new and emerging innovations, from feasibility through to implementation
3. Work closely with cross-functional teams to develop smart manufacturing solutions
4. Drive automation and connectivity initiatives to enhance system communication and business performance
5. Monitor, troubleshoot, and improve integrated manufacturing systems
6. Develop data analytics tools for optimisation, predictive maintenance, and real-time insights
7. Ensure all digital and automation projects meet safety, quality, cyber-security, and compliance standards
What You’ll Bring
Essential:
8. Qualification in a relevant engineering discipline or equivalent experience (HNC/Degree)
9. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
10. Experience taking new technologies or tools from concept to full deployment
11. Able to understand Six Sigma and have applied it
12. CAD experience would be beneficial
