An outstanding law firm based in Cardiff is currently seeking an experienced Desktop Support Analyst to join their IT team in supporting a large number of employees across several office locations. The ideal candidate is someone who has prior experience in service desk and must be able to exhibit his/her problem solving and troubleshooting skills within Desktop and Network environments. Other than the technical skills, a team player who has passion for IT and in providing excellent customer service is the best candidate they are looking for.
Duties:
* Providing technical and hardware support for office gadgets and devices
* Resolving Service Desk tickets
* Supporting work applications such as telephone, email, browsers, Microsoft OS
* Accomplishing IT Asset Management for employees
* Identifying root cause analysis and providing efficient recommendations for long-term solutions
* Coordinate with suppliers for strategic projects and onsite support
* Communicate accordingly with users to motivate best practice and efficient use of applications and services
Other Skills And Experience Should Include:
* Relevant technical experience in a distributed end-user environment; MS Windows, MS Office
* Technical/hardware support for desktop PCs, laptops, tablets, smartphones, telephony, local servers, networks, cabling, printers and large office equipment including scanners, photocopiers
* A proven structured and analytical problem-solving ability
* Excellent communication skills both written and verbal with a willingness to share information and learn from others.
* A full driving licence.
