JOB TITLE - Maths Teacher\n\nABOUT THE SCHOOL \n\nProspero Teaching is seeking a Maths Teacher for a Secondary school based in Swindon. \n\nThe school is a large mainstream Secondary School with a supportive cover team and teaching staff. The school is going from strength to strength and providing CPD throughout the year.
The school does have a 6th form, although most of the timetables for this role will be key stage 3 and key stage 4 levels.\n\nThe position is open to both graduates and experienced cover supervisors. Depending on performance, the school would look at either extending the contract or offering a permanent position.\n\nCONTRACT/POSITION DETAILS \n\nLocation - Swindon\nPosition - Maths Teacher\nStart date - May 2025\nFull time/part time - Full-Time\nMinimum rate of pay - £155 - £215 per day\nHours - 8:20 am - 4:00 pm \n\nEXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS\n\nRecent Graduate, with a 2:1 or higher\nPrevious experience working in a UK school\nUp to Up-to-date safeguarding training issued in the last year\nQualified Teaching Status \n\nTO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:\n\nHold Right to Work in the UK\nHold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application\nProvide two professional child related references covering the last 2 years \n\nIf you would like to be considered for this role, please apply with a copy of your up-to-date CV.
