Level 3 Learning Support Practitioner
Old Hill Primary School & Nursery is a welcoming and inclusive school, committed to supporting every pupil to achieve their full potential. We are looking for a dedicated Learning Support Practitioner to join our team.
We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Level 3 Learning Support Practitioner to work closely with pupils with special educational needs, primarily in Reception. You will provide high-quality support in the classroom and, where appropriate, in small group settings, helping pupils access the curriculum and develop independence.
You will:
* Hold a Level 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning
* Be passionate about teaching and making a difference to the lives of our pupils
* Work within a team of enthusiastic and skilled staff
* Support pupils with special needs, including behavioural, learning and communication challenges
* Implement personalised learning programmes under the direction of the SENCo and class teacher
* Assist with the planning and delivery of interventions to support pupil progress
* Demonstrate patience, empathy, and a genuine commitment to supporting pupils with additional needs
* Have a sense of humour

32.5 hours per week, Term Time plus 5 training days. (08:30 am start is required)
