Role Description As a Trainee Service Engineer, you will play a vital role in the maintenance, repair, and technical support of our installed lifts. Working with a Senior Engineer you will learn about the products we install, common fault finding and how to diagnose more complex faults. Initially your responsibilities will be to shadow, learn and aid your Senior Engineer. Your daily responsibilities will include troubleshooting issues, conducting routine maintenance, performing on-site repairs, and providing field service support on the phone to clients. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Wimborne. We have installations across the UK so a drivers licence is critical. Qualifications Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues effectively Experience or aptitude for field service roles and on-site technical operations Previous experience in platform lift, lifts or engineering recommended but not required Proficiency in providing technical support and conducting maintenance and repair tasks Excellent communication skills for interacting with clients, manufacturer technical partners and team members Willingness to learn and adapt to new products Valid driver’s license and the ability to travel locally for service assignments.
