Job Description Purpose of the role To support the organisation, achieve its strategic objectives by the identification of business requirements and solutions that address business problems and opportunities. Accountabilities Identification and analysis of business problems and client requirements that require change within the organisation. Development of business requirements that will address business problems and opportunities. Collaboration with stakeholders to ensure that proposed solutions meet their needs and expectations. Support the creation of business cases that justify investment in proposed solutions. Conduct feasibility studies to determine the viability of proposed solutions. Support the creation of reports on project progress to ensure proposed solutions are delivered on time and within budget. Creation of operational design and process design to ensure that proposed solutions are delivered within the agreed scope. Support to change management activities, including development of a traceability matrix to ensure proposed solutions are successfully implemented and embedded in the organisation. They may also lead a number of specialists to influence the operations of a department, in alignment with strategic as well as tactical priorities, while balancing short and long term goals and ensuring that budgets and schedules meet corporate requirements If the position has leadership responsibilities, People Leaders are expected to demonstrate a clear set of leadership behaviours to create an environment for colleagues to thrive and deliver to a consistently excellent standard. They will lead collaborative, multi-year assignments and guide team members through structured assignments, identify the need for the inclusion of other areas of specialisation to complete assignments. They will train, guide and coach less experienced specialists and provide information affecting long term profits, organisational risks and strategic decisions Advise key stakeholders, including functional leadership teams and senior management on functional and cross functional areas of impact and alignment. Manage and mitigate risks through assessment, in support of the control and governance agenda. Demonstrate leadership and accountability for managing risk and strengthening controls in relation to the work your team does. Demonstrate comprehensive understanding of the organisation functions to contribute to achieving the goals of the business. Collaborate with other areas of work, for business aligned support areas to keep up to speed with business activity and the business strategies. Create solutions based on sophisticated analytical thought comparing and selecting complex alternatives. In-depth analysis with interpretative thinking will be required to define problems and develop innovative solutions. Adopt and include the outcomes of extensive research in problem solving processes. Seek out, build and maintain trusting relationships and partnerships with internal and external stakeholders in order to accomplish key business objectives, using influencing and negotiating skills to achieve outcomes. As a Process & Requirement Analyst, you will serve as the critical link between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring that solutions are designed and delivered in alignment with business needs. You will gather and analyse requirements, document business processes, and translate insights into clear, actionable user journeys and functional specifications. Working closely with technical SMEs, you will validate that proposed designs are feasible and aligned with the intended outcomes. Your role will be instrumental in ensuring that what is designed and built is fit for purpose and delivers value to the business. You will support functional testing by writing test cases, validating outcomes, and ensuring that systems function as intended. You will also contribute to user support and training by documenting processes and helping shape training content. Your ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders will be key to your success, as will your attention to detail and structured approach to problem-solving. This role requires an understanding of solution design, testing, and change delivery within a collaborative, fast-paced environment. To be successful as a Process & Requirement Analyst, you should have experience with: • Experience in requirements gathering, business analysis, and documentation, including user journeys and process mapping. • Ability to translate business needs into functional specifications and collaborate with technical teams to ensure feasibility and alignment. • Experience in functional testing, including writing test cases and validating test outcomes. • Experience supporting user training and documentation, with excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills. You may be assessed on the key critical skills relevant for success in role, such as risk and controls, change and transformation, business acumen strategic thinking and digital and technology, as well as job-specific technical skills. Your role can be located from our Glasgow or London office.
