Senior Pre-sales System Engineer / Sales Engineer
The role
This is an exciting opportunity to join a high-performing, diverse team as a Senior Sales Engineer. In this role, you will:
* Participate in client meetings to understand business needs and align them with solution capabilities.
* Travel locally within the designated territory (UK) to attend events, engage with partners, and meet clients.
* Maintain in-depth technical knowledge of the platform through continuous training.
* Deliver compelling presentations and demonstrations that communicate the value and use cases of the solution.
* Design and implement Proof-of-Concept (POC) environments tailored to client requirements.
* Support clients during POC testing by troubleshooting and optimising configurations.
* Stay motivated and hands-on with networking technologies and client-facing activities.
* Engage with high-profile/enterprise customers in dynamic and rewarding projects.
Experience
* 5+ years in a Sales Engineer/Pre-Sales/System Engineering role in cybersecurity.
* Strong hands-on skills in lab environments, confident presentation and communication abilities.
* Strong network security background is essential (CCNA, CCNP or CCIE level), and IOT, threat detection, XDR, SIEM, EDR, security experience is a plus.
* Comfortable with regular travel and adapting to customer needs.
* Highly motivated, customer-focused, and committed to quality.
* Experience in translating business needs into effective technical solutions.
* Experience engaging with enterprise-level clients.
* Must reside in the UK.
Salary: £160k OTE + £8k car allowance (70/30 split)
