GSL Education are seeking reliable and adaptable Secondary School Supply Teaching Assistants to work in schools across Nottingham.
As a Secondary School Supply Teaching Assistant, you will support teachers in delivering lessons, assist students with their learning activities, and help maintain a positive and engaging classroom environment.
Your Responsibilities of a Secondary School Supply Teaching Assistant:
* Support the class teacher in delivering lessons across different subjects
* Provide one-to-one and small group support to students who require additional assistance
* Assist with the preparation of classroom resources and learning materials
* Encourage student participation and engagement during lessons
* Help maintain a positive, safe, and inclusive learning environment
* Support classroom behaviour management in line with school policies
* Assist students with their learning activities and coursework
* Work collaboratively with teachers and staff to support student progress
Requirements of a Secondary School Supply Teaching Assistant:
* Experience working with children or young people is desirable
* A patient, supportive, and positive approach to working with students
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
* The ability to adapt to different classroom environments
* A genuine interest in supporting students’ learning and development
* An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
