SENIOR SUPPORT WORKER - THERAPEUTIC CHILDREN'S HOME
Location: Chippenham, Wiltshire
Salary: £32,000 per annum

ABOUT THE ROLE
As Senior Support Worker, you'll play a key role in the day-to-day running of the home. You'll lead by example, support junior staff, and help create a safe, supportive, and healing space for children who've experienced trauma.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
* At least 1 year's experience in a residential children's home
* Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or working towards)
* A solid understanding of therapeutic and trauma-informed care
* Confident leadership and communication skills
* A caring, patient, and resilient approach
* Full UK Driving Licence
* Enhanced DBS and suitable references
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
* Support the team in delivering high-quality, consistent care
* Help implement care plans and behaviour support strategies
* Act as a role model for therapeutic practice and positive routines
* Encourage young people's emotional and social development
* Assist with rota planning, team development, and safeguarding
* Contribute to maintaining compliance with care standards
