Job Role: Project Manager

Duration: Permanent
Salary: £36,000 per annum
The Role
Due to growing expansion in telecommunication markets, we are looking to recruit a suitable Project Manager with a focus on providing commercial and design support to key customers. The candidate would need to demonstrate skills in estimating and costing to support new product developments. The role involves building relationships with customers through continuous technical support on new and ongoing projects to drive new business opportunities.
Duties & Responsibilities
* Collaborating with key customers to produce bespoke product ranges to match their specified requirements.
* Responsible for undertaking structural analysis using in-house software and Solidworks FEA & Simulation packages.
* Creation of fabrication drawings and customer outline drawings using Solidworks & AutoCAD.
* Liaising with key customers to provide contact point for scheduling of work through initial pricing, sales and design to production and shipping of finished product.
* Development of customer relationships, organizing rapid product development to support new sales opportunities.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience
* Experience in 3D CAD systems (preferably Solidworks)
* Experience of PDM, PLM & ERP Systems (preferably Windchill & QAD)
* Excellent communication and literacy skills
* Knowledge of Microsoft Office packages, particularly Excel for building costing templates
* Degree educated in engineering discipline
