What you will do Healthy Child Programme: Deliver the Healthy Child Programme (0-5), including developmental reviews and health promotion activities. Home Visits & Assessments: Conduct home visits, assessments, and provide targeted family support interventions. Safeguarding: Identify and respond to safeguarding concerns in line with statutory guidance and local procedures. Parental Support: Advise on infant feeding, child development, and parenting strategies. Multi-Disciplinary Working: Collaborate with midwives, GPs, social workers, and other professionals. Clinical Documentation: Maintain accurate and thorough clinical records and documentation. Early Intervention: Advocate for prevention and early intervention to improve outcomes for children and families. Qualifications / Requirements Essential Registered Nurse or Midwife with Specialist Community Public Health Nurse (SCPHN - Health Visiting) qualification. Current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC). Proven experience as a Health Visitor within NHS or community settings. Strong knowledge of safeguarding and child protection frameworks. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to manage caseloads effectively. Desirable Familiarity with Worcestershire community health teams or similar services. Knowledge of local safeguarding procedures and systems. Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
