Mobile Electrical Engineer – Up to £41,000 – Government Buildings – Staines‑upon‑Thames
CBW is recruiting a Mobile Electrical Engineer to be based on a government contract in Staines‑upon‑Thames. The role is ideal for a qualified Electrical Maintenance Engineer with a proven track record in commercial building maintenance, seeking progression and a competitive salary.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
* Lighting – small installations, fault‑finding, lamping, etc.
* PPM’s & reactive maintenance
* Emergency lighting tests
* Control panel maintenance
* Ballast changing
* BMS system monitoring (hot & cold)
* Maintain and update log books
* Plumbing – unblock toilets
* Pumps & motors
* Managing priorities within contract constraints
* Working within a multi‑disciplinary team to achieve set goals
* Participation in standby rota for emergency calls outside normal working hours
* Providing information for the pricing of M&E works where applicable for minor projects and maintenance
Package & Hours of Work
* Salary up to £41,000
* Van & fuel card
* 40 hours per week
* Overtime available
* Call‑out arrangement
Requirements
* Electrically qualified – City & Guilds Level 2 & 3 (Required)
* 18th Edition (Required)
* Must be able to provide copies of trade certificates
* Proven track record in commercial building maintenance
* Multi‑skilled
* Good communication skills
* Client facing
