This Liverpool-based Senior Associate role is a key hire as part of wider growth plans, with a clear focus on strengthening the Family offering across Merseyside and beyond.
You’ll be stepping into an established national team with a strong reputation and a consistent flow of high-quality work, but with the scope to make the Liverpool presence your own.
From the outset, you’ll take ownership of your own client base while building out the local offering. There’s already a strong internal network generating referrals, meaning you’re not solely reliant on external business development to succeed, but you’ll have the platform to grow your own relationships and profile in the market.
Over time, the role evolves into something much bigger than fee-earning. You’ll play a central part in shaping the direction of the Family team locally, contributing to national strategy, mentoring junior lawyers and helping build a sustainable, high-performing team around you.
The culture is collaborative and commercially minded without being political. You’ll be working alongside other senior lawyers across different practice areas, giving you access to a broad client base and the ability to offer genuinely joined-up advice.

12. Leading and growing the Family practice in Liverpool
13. Managing a caseload of high-value, complex family matters
14. Building relationships internally to generate cross-referral work
15. Driving business development and raising your market profile

17. Supporting and mentoring junior lawyers
18. Contributing to the strategic direction and growth of the wider team
