Senior Java Developer - TDD - Paying up to £600 Inside IR35 - Hybrid (London) - 6 month contract
We're partnering with a large, internationally recognised digital platform business that delivers content and services to millions of users daily. They're looking for a Senior Java Developer to join a high-performing engineering team building scalable, customer-facing products used at massive scale.

The Role
* Design, build, and maintain high-performance, scalable backend services using Java
* Contribute to architecture decisions and technical strategy across key platforms
* Work closely with product, QA, and DevOps teams in an agile environment
* Improve system reliability, performance, and scalability across services
* Mentor junior engineers and promote engineering best practices
Tech Stack
* Java (Java 11+/17 preferred)
* TDD
* Spring Boot/Microservices architecture
* RESTful APIs
* AWS/Cloud-based infrastructure
* Docker & Kubernetes
* CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions or similar)
Requirements
* Strong experience building backend systems in Java
* Solid understanding of microservices architecture and distributed systems
* Experience with cloud platforms (AWS preferred)
* Strong knowledge of API design and system scalability
* Comfortable working in agile, collaborative teams
