Salary: £46,000 - 86,000 per year Requirements: Previous management experience within a B2B software development environment Strong commercial awareness and confident decision-making skills Experience managing technical and non-technical teams A strong understanding of software development processes and methodologies The ability to challenge and influence technical decisions where required Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills Experience working with Agile/Scrum methodologies Knowledge of Java and JavaScript Experience exploring AI within development and testing processes would be advantageous Experience relating to technical improvement projects and R&D tax credit submissions would be beneficial Responsibilities: Manage and drive the product roadmap across multiple development functions, prioritising projects effectively and delivering them efficiently Lead and develop cross-functional product and development teams, including Business Analysts, Developers, Offshore Developers and Testing teams Implement performance management and appraisal processes across the department Support technical discussions and help guide key development decisions Manage and drive recruitment for our team Review competitor activity and market trends to influence product direction Identify opportunities to improve efficiency across teams and wider business functions Support team development, identify skills gaps and mentor where needed Work closely with stakeholders to balance client priorities, timelines and commercial objectives Technologies: AI Support Java JavaScript More: We are a growing and well-established software business with a respected B2B platform used globally.
