What you’ll do on a typical day:
Plan and optimise daily and weekly transport schedules to maximise efficiency
* Ensure all transport activity complies with UK legislation and company policies
* Monitor vehicle utilisation, costs, and delivery performance
* Communicate effectively with drivers regarding routes, timings, and changes
* Troubleshoot and resolve issues such as delays, shortages, or vehicle problems
What you need to succeed at GXO:
Previous experience in a Transport Planner or similar role
* Experience of Paragon wold be desirable
* Strong knowledge of UK transport regulations and driver hours
* Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills
* Confident using planning systems, Excel, and other IT tools
