The National Ice Centre (NIC) sits within the same complex. Made famous by Olympic legends and Dancing on Ice stars, Torvill & Dean, the National Ice Centre is Nottingham's hub for all things ice skating and ice hockey.
2025 is a bumper year for our venue with us welcoming Peter Kay, Kylie, Strictly Come Dancing, Craig David, Mo Gilligan, Olly Murs, Diana Ross and the 50th Anniversary Tour of Torvill & Dean to name a few.
We are looking for an Administrator to join our Health & Safety team.
Reporting to the H&S Advisor, the Administrator will be responsible for ensuring that all Health & Safety administration relating to vehicle management is completed in a timely manner with a high focus on accuracy and the quality of information being collated and shared.
Working closely with managers and drivers the Administrator will ensure that the Health & Safety administration process is established and maintained, ensuring that all records are up to date and that all mandatory maintenance takes place to ensure compliance with our Operators (O) Licence.
Additionally, the Administrator will:
* Assist the Health & Safety Advisor with administration tasks, ensuring that the work is carried out to a high standard within agreed deadlines.
* Liaise with managers and drivers to arrange and oversee the servicing, MOT and taxing of company owned vehicles which include cars, vans and trucks.
* Ensure annual EICR (Electrical Installation Condition Report) are arranged and undertaken for all NIC trailers
* Ensure that all hire vehicles are videoed by the driver when received and that these videos are downloaded and filed
* Ensure that all requests to be added to the Authorised Drivers List are dealt with and completed in a timely manner
* Carry out the annual Drivers Audit, ensuring that staff are still eligible to remain on the list, ensuring that all assessment and insurance information is collected and retained
* Audit vehicle use using the Aquarius system (tachograph). Uploading information, reviewing weekly reports and investigating any infringements
The ideal candidate will have previous experience within an admin role, with an in-depth knowledge of MS office packages. With excellent organisational skills they will have been previously expected to management and plan their own time and workload.
Their communication skills will be excellent, both in writing and verbally with great attention to detail. A proactive self-starter, they will flexible and adaptable. A driving licence is essential for this role.
