We are looking for a multi-skilled maintenance engineer of either a mechanical or an electrical bias to join a global brand at our heavy manufacturing site in Coventry. We are currently undergoing substantial and exciting change and are looking to expand our maintenance team to facilitate this.
As the successful applicant your roles and responsibilities will include repairing and maintaining Conveyors, Mixers, Ovens, Kilns, Mills. In addition, you’ll need electrical ability to control panel fault find and an understanding of schematics/drawings. A working knowledge of Allen Bradley PLCs would be advantageous but not a dealbreaker.
Equally as important to us is attitude as well as technical ability, someone who will thrive in a heavy plant-based environment and isn’t afraid to get stuck in is absolutely the type of person we’re looking for. The role can be physical, and our site is large as a result someone who is comfortable in this environment is vital.
Experience Required
* Minimum 3 years’ experience as a multi-skilled maintenance engineer in a manufacturing environment
* Ideally previous experience working on heavy plant-based machinery such as conveyors, ovens, mixers, kilns, balers, motors, gearboxes
* Ideally experience fault finding on Allen Bradley PLCs
* Multi-skilled maintenance engineers from all backgrounds are encouraged to apply, including applicants from a forces background
