Job title: Commercial Manager

Salary: £81,000 - £91,000 Per Annum + £6325 Car allowance + Benefits
Location: Whitehaven, Cumbria
Hours of work: 40 Hours Per Week - Office Based 5 days per week, once probation is complete candidate will have the option to work from home 1 day per week.
The Role:
You will take responsibility for the commercial function on a project or section of a project, to deliver a commercial strategy and contribute to a result agreed with management. You will also protect the company's position throughout client relationships.
Main Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
* Submit and secure applications to maximise cash income
* Prepare or approve subcontractor payments to ensure compliance with terms
* Produce accurate and timely forecasts and monthly reports to demonstrate contract performance
* Prepare communications to ensure that timely and effective replies are sent
* Monitor commercial and contract performance to ensure prompt and focussed corrective action
* Systematically review and validate incoming information
* Ensure that local teams and workloads are balanced
* Mentor subordinate staff
* Lead regular commercial meetings internally or with client
Experience/Qualifications:
* All candidates MUST hold a Degree in Quantity Surveying
* All candidates MUST have a strong understanding of NEC, JCT Contracts
* All candidates MUST have previous Sellafield site experience
* You will have a full appreciation of commercial arrangements with the supply chain
