Job Opportunity: Deputy Care Home Manager (Registered Nurse) – Newcastle (Gosforth)
£23 per hour | Permanent Role
Are you a passionate and experienced Registered Nurse with a strong background in care home management? We are looking for a dedicated Deputy Care Home Manager to join our team and help lead a welcoming, high-quality care service in Newcastle (Gosforth).
About the Role:
As Deputy Manager, you’ll support the Home Manager in delivering outstanding care to our residents, maintaining high standards, and providing professional leadership to the team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a confident, compassionate nurse ready to take the next step in their leadership journey.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support the day-to-day management of the care home
* Lead and motivate care staff to deliver person-centred, high-quality care
* Ensure compliance with CQC regulations and internal policies
* Contribute to staff development, training, and supervision
* Deliver hands-on clinical care and manage medication safely
Requirements:
* Registered Nurse (RGN/RMN) with an active NMC PIN
* Previous experience in a care home management or deputy role
* Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills
* A caring and professional approach to elderly care
